Storm is a VERY stout built Bay Tobiano Gelding, standing 16.1hh, and weighing 1200lbs. He is so gentle, laid back and steady that anyone will get along with him and have years and years of happy trail miles together! Storm will lope nice circles, slide stop and back with ease! Storm has a very soft and easy lope! He is a very confident horse that is not spooky around anything or any situation and he is as close to bombproof as you’ll see. He has been camping in several states. He has been used in all aspects of ranching from roping and dragging cows, to sorting and loading… Not only will he ride western he will also go english and has been started on jumps. Storm loves attention in any form that he can get it whether that be brushing or bathing and has a ton of personality! He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. No matter where he goes or what he does, Storm is not spooky acting. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. At 15 hands tall and just 8 years old Nova is very athletic as movements are stunning. She has a very floaty jog & a rocking chair lope, she would make a natural fit for ranch trail classes. Her stops are controlled and BIG. Nova is as versatile as they come, with a great foundation built on the ranch. Shes been trail-ridden extensively, worked cattle, and is no stranger to the demands of ranch life. She has also been used on the heel side in team roping. She is very handy. Super soft in the mouth. She responds well to leg cues and body cues. She will canter a nice circle, while catching both leads. She will neck rein with ease and back up when asked. Very soft in the mouth and very responsive. Always aims to please! Nova will greet you at the gate. She stands to be tacked, bridled, groomed & shod. She stands for a mounting block for mounting and dismounting.
